This is not a good first jet. But the FUTURA 64 mm
CONS:
I have the Futura 64 mm and the Futura 80 mm. I now have the integral 80 mm.
The battery size compartment is very limited as compared to the Futura 80mm. The integral uses a battery tray which limits the size of the battery. Don’t think you can buy any 6 cell 4000/5000 battery and expect it to fit. The battery tray tract is similar to the one used in the FMS Olympus. If you break the battery track inside the jet you will end up buying a new fuselage.
Don’t even think about trying to carve out space in fuselage to get the battery to fit. There is no room to do that.
I’m using a six cell 4000 with a discharge of 30 C. I’m going to change the battery out to a higher discharge rate something like 60C. Jet does not seem to have enough power.
Landing is a bit of of a problem for me. I’m having difficulty slowing the jet up even with flaps down. The jet goes off the runway and into the grass, which is not a problem. The big wheels can handle it.
PROS:
I love the big wheels on the jet. I tested the jet on grass and it will takeoff, but I prefer using the runway.
The lights on the jet are a nice addition
I don’t have any complaints about the way it flies.
The jet tracks well down the runway and takes off without any issues. However, I do suggest getting a battery with a bigger discharge rate
The design of the plane is a little strange, but you can get used to it.
CG is not a problem and the jet balance as well.
Fly for the first time last week. Grass was the runway and it took off easily with straight up vertical performance. Make sure the throws are extremely are a the minimum. Once it starts rolling, it rolls quickly! Landing gear is top notch.

This is a fast great flying jet. Plenty of power for grass takeoffs. Everything is good except front landing gear is weak. Nice shock action but the retract needs to be stronger. Excellent value I got $100 off
