El piloto campeón mundial Daniel Aeberli se une al fabricante de aeromodelismo FMS para crear el primer planeador de espuma de alto rendimiento a escala del mundo: el ASW-17. Fiel al espíritu de FMS, no se descuidó ningún detalle en el diseño del ASW-17. Los ingenieros de FMS realizaron cuatro costosos ajustes de utillaje para microajustar el perfil aerodinámico y lograr una eficiencia perfecta.
El ala y los estabilizadores verticales y horizontales están diseñados con una estructura de encaje a presión. Con un simple encaje, las superficies se unen al fuselaje con precisión milimétrica, ¡sin necesidad de tornillos ni pegamento! ¡Construye la aeronave en tan solo 3 minutos!
Al igual que el Fox de 3000 mm, el ASW-17 tiene un larguero de fibra de carbono preinstalado que garantiza la rigidez del ala en maniobras de alta G.
Para lograr el mismo diedro que el avión real, el ASW-17 fue diseñado con un ensamblador de larguero de aluminio CNC especializado, lo que permite que el avión mantenga la geometría de su ala durante rutinas de vuelo exigentes.
En cuanto al rendimiento, un ESC Hobbywing 40A de alta calidad combinado con un motor Predator 3541-750KV proporciona amplia potencia con un paquete 4S para realizar la mayoría de las maniobras acrobáticas.
