Description

The British Red Arrows, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, is the official display team of the RAF based at RAF Scampton. The team was formed in late 1964 as an all-RAF team. Initially equipped with Folland Gnat trainers inherited from the RAF Yellowjacks display team. In late 1979, they made the switch to the BAE Hawk trainer.

FMS is proud to present this classic British advanced trainer and combat aircraft.

No detail was overlooked in the creation of this highly-detailed model; integrating scale features like CNC-machined shock-absorbing metal landing gear and gear covers, detailed panel lines, realistic pilot figure, removable auxiliary fuel tanks, pitot tube and a bright LED lighting system.

Powering the Hawk is FMS’ upgraded and uprated Predator 100A ESC (V2), Predator 2000KV motor and a 12-bladed 80mm EDF system- which provides a huge amount of thrust while retaining that satisfying turbine note. Not only can you feel
the thrust, you’ll hear it too!

FMS 80mm BAE Hawk- the perfect balance between scale and performance.

Flies on rails and has great power!

U hear alot of people say how good this thing is... there are right and then some. It flys sooooo darn good with really good thrust. Thing is a rocket shit with almost endless vertical! Lands soo easy and sounds the best of any edf. If i were to say anything negative only thing i would say is that the little wire that closes the landing gear doors on mains is a little bit to weak. Doors closed perfectly for about 7 batterys. Now my doors will hang down. Its no big thing but just nit picking 🙌 Highly recommend this edf if u want performance and awesome looks

My Favorite EDF!!!

I bought this BaeHawk as a back up for my current 80mm BaeHawk, I bought the first one back in Nov 2023 , so far I have well over 150 flights on it, it's very Fast, handles very well, easy to see, landing gear and flaps work as they should, dead stick landings and sounds incredible, removed the reflex from the beginning, this plane doesn't need a gyro, I'm running these on an SMC 5300hv which gives me roughly 4 min's of 1/2 throttle with about 6 full throttle passes, easily my favorite EDF.

Awsome flyer

This jet was damaged in shipping, minor though, one of the wing flap hinges was separated about 2.5 inches, but FMS sent a replacment wing in a hurry. I modeled it today and was very surprised at the performance and how fast it was. It took a little aileron and elevator trim but once trimmed out flew on rails, and was very fast. This is a great flier and lands very nicely.
