Product FAQs

RTF (Ready to Fly) airplanes come with everything necessary for flight in the box. A transmitter, receiver, battery, charger, and all other required electronics are included and pre-installed from the factory.

PNP (Plug and Play) airplanes come pre-installed with ESC, motor, and servos. The transmitter, receiver, battery and charger are NOT included.

RTR (Ready to Run) is used to describe vehicles that are basically ready to run/use out of the box. Transmitter, receiver, battery, charger and all accessories are included in the box.

RS (Ready Set) vehicles include the transmitter, receiver and all accessories. Battery and charger are NOT included.

If you selected an RTF model, you do not need any extra electronics and accessories as RTF models include everything you need to fly right out of the box. (Batteries for the transmitter and basic installation of plane parts are required.)

If you have selected a PNP model, you will still need your own transmitter, receiver, LiPo battery and compatible LiPo battery charger to fly. The advantage of a PNP is that once you have your radio transmitter, a battery charger, and several batteries and receivers, the PNP’s price is lower than the RTF.

We understand customers may want to know when a specific product is back in stock. To address this need, we have added a back in stock notification feature to every out-of-stock product on our website. This feature is very simple to use - If a product is out of stock, an blue "NOTIFY WHEN BACK AVAILABLE" button will appear on the product page. Click this button and a pop-up window will appear. Enter your email address and click the orange "Notify Me" button. When a product is in stock, you will receive an email notifying you that the product is now available.

2. On each product page you will see the parts collection, click the "View all parts" button to see more parts.

3. Search directly for a specific part number or name in the search bar.

Absolutely. Any information entered during checkout will be encrypted by our secure server. FMS does not collect your credit/debit card number or personal information when you make a payment.

All prices on FMSHobby.com exclude VAT and import duties. FMS does not collect sales tax, VAT, or duties on international orders during the checkout process. Customers outside of the United States may be required to pay applicable duties and taxes upon receipt of merchandise. Please follow your local regulations and pay any taxes and duties.

FMS website often has special sales/deals. During these limited-time promotions, discounts are automatically applied at checkout to all qualifying purchases.
• Customers will see the automatic discounts in their cart and at checkout.

2. Coupon
Any coupon obtained from FMS is only suitable for RC Airplanes or RC Cars in our store, excluding sale items and accessories.
• Customers must enter a coupon code at checkout.
• The coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer/discount.
• The coupon can’t change to cash. Please use the coupon at a valid time.
• The coupon only can be used one time by yourself.

Subscribe to our newsletter for the first time and the 5% discount code will be sent to your email automatically. (The discount code is only valid for full-priced RC airplanes, and it does not apply to new models.)

Shipping & Tracking

Action Required for Abnormal Shipments: For orders that encounter abnormal shipment situations, we kindly request your attention and collaboration. If you receive an email notification from us regarding such a situation, please ensure to promptly reply to the email. By doing so, you will help us to resolve any issues efficiently and ensure a successful delivery.

Please note that if we do not receive your email response for abnormally shipped orders, we will retain your order for a period of up to 30 days. We highly recommend actively monitoring your email inbox to avoid any inconvenience and ensure a seamless delivery process.

RC Airplanes, Cars and Accessories in the US warehouse can be shipped to the Contiguous United States, excluding Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

All orders are processed within 1-3 working days after they are placed. You will receive a shipping confirmation email from our system when the shipping information has been uploaded.

All orders are processed within 1-2 working days and are not shipped or delivered on weekends and holidays.

Your items may ship from a different warehouse, so they may arrive separately. If your items arrive separately because they ship from a different warehouse or they are on backorder, we do not charge you extra shipping fees.

FMS partners with FedEx, USPS and 4PX to provide the most economical and reliable shipping option for the weight and destination of the shipment.

What is the status of my order? / How do I track my package? / What is my tracking number?

You can access the order status page by using the link in your shipping confirmation email or from your My Account page.

• My Account Page - To access your account, click on the "My Account" button (or the account icon if on a mobile device) at the top of the FMS website. Once you are on your My Account page you will see the complete order history. You can view the order status by clicking on any of the order numbers shown in the order history.

• Shipping Confirmation Email - After your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Click on your tracking number and you will be redirected to an order status page.

NOTE: If you placed an order but did not receive an order confirmation email and shipping confirmation email from FMS, the emails are most likely in your spam or junk mail folder. If you are using Gmail, the email may be in your Promotions Folder. Order Issue

Unfortunately, it is not possible to add an item to an order once the order has been placed. Here is why:

Our high-speed fulfillment system runs 24/7. Once your order is placed online, our system immediately begins processing the order for fulfillment including generating pick lists, printing packing slips, etc. Even if your order has not shipped, it has still entered the fulfillment process. Additionally, for security purposes we do not store PayPal or Credit Card information; therefore, we have no ability to charge you for additional items.

If you wish to purchase additional items you will need to place a new order for the additional item(s).

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund or credit the shipping cost if you decide to place a second order. Our high-speed fulfillment system does not combine multiple orders into a single shipment, therefore, we are paying the full postage cost for every individual order that we ship.

If you order an RC model (such as an airplane or car) and you also order small spare parts, sometimes FMS will pack the spare parts inside the RC model's box. Before contacting customer service to report a missing item, please check all areas/cavities inside the box thoroughly.

Every order processed by FMS's warehouse is video recorded and precisely weighed to ensure order accuracy. If you have thoroughly checked your shipping boxes, retail boxes, and packing material and still cannot find your item, please contact us using the form below, and we will be glad to help you locate your items or ship you the missing parts if necessary.

We apologize that we have shipped you the incorrect product. Please contact us immediately and please attach a picture of the incorrect product you received, and a picture of the packing slip. These two photos will help expedite the return process.
Keep all packing material and original boxes as you will be required to return the incorrect item (FMS will pay the cost of return shipping). We will ship the correct item once the new, unused product is returned. See return policy details here.
